1940 A service call, an oil platform

Our story

It started with a service call to an oil platform.

In 1940, someone needed power out to an oil platform. Our founder took the call, did the work, and earned his license as an electrical contractor. That is how OEC started.

What began in oil and gas service has grown into commercial, industrial, and transmission work across Southern California, with the same field-first standard we started with.

Our safety program includes random drug and alcohol testing and DOT compliance, and a large percentage of our business comes from repeat customers.
